We believe in transparency and educating our customers on where their food comes from. We want our customers to understand the difference between responsible practices and conventional farming, and we invite our customers to come visit our store and learn more about the responsible farming methods we support. We are passionate about educating our customers on the importance of sourcing from local farms.

2010 A Local Family Farm
The Iverstine Family purchased 65 acres in Kentwood, Louisiana, and soon got to work producing quality cattle on the farm, which quickly doubled in size.

2016 Farm + Butcher
We opened our full-service butcher shop and smokehouse in Baton Rouge to provide local farm-raised meats to customers while supporting local farming partners that prioritize land-healing farming methods.

2022 Meat, The Demand
We sought out more trusted farms who have the same non-negotiables on quality as we do —- grass-fed beef, no hormones, no antibiotics —- which allowed us to focus on what we do best, provide premium fresh cuts to our community.
